Description
Hey everyone! It’s Taralyn today. It’s no secret that I LOVE words. I love talking; I love writing; I love reading. I feel so much of who I am and how I think is a result of the ideas and philosophies I have read or heard over the years. Words have the power to change the world! I have found that memorizing beautiful words from the masters who have come before me to be a powerful way to have those ideas at my fingertips when the need arises. I have also been pleasantly surprised at how fun it has been to introduce my kids to poetry and great literature and how easy it is to have them memorize these words.
In this episode, I talk about different categories of words that my kids and I memorize: historical documents, poetry, inspiring leader quotes, and scripture. I explain the benefits of such a practice, and give you lots of easy tips and tricks to have you easily incorporate some literature love into your parenting.
