You have found The New Old You and I’m your host Lesley McShane. If you’re like me, you wear a lot of hats. wife, mother, sister, daughter, employee and you’re over 50. When I turned 50, there was total shock at how fast I got here. I felt fabulous on one hand, but completely lost on the other. How did I get HERE? And why isn’t HERE where I want to be? After listening to other women, I learned I wasn’t the only one and that there are so many of us that feel this way.This podcast is for a community of women like us who are dealing with and solving all types of issues surrounding this phase of life. It is a place to be reminded that it is time to create space for yourself for a change and that your voice is strong and knowledgable. Basically that age doesn’t define being able to do scary, new things. Midlife means that we still have half of it to live. So why can’t the second 50 years be the best half? This podcast is available every Wednesday with solo episodes as well as interviews with guests who teach and inspire us to follow our hearts. We’ll also be encouraged to develop habits and motivation to keep us moving through the fear of change.
