Description
I can’t wait to you to hear today’s episode all about healthy poops! It is crucial that we assess the quality & frequency of our bowel movements. At the very bare minimum you need to be pooping once a day. I prefer at least 2x a day. Generally 1 BM per major meal you have. Ideally the first bowel momvement of the day within 1-2 hours of waking up. If you’re not going that amount you most likely are constipated. This means you’re not expelling excess hormones , toxins & cholesterol out of the body. Assess your poop by using the BRISTOL STOOL CHART! - A normal poop looks like a banana and has that consistency. It also feels complete. (AkA not wiping 100x!). If your poop doesn’t look like this you can be experiencing IBS, leaky gut, inflammation etc. Aside from inflammatory foods like sugar, processed, dairy & gluten- our emotions greatly affect our gut.As does STRESS.
