Description
First, Mark and Dr. Gladden discuss the difference between body types that are more comfortable in warmer or colder temperatures, which can be determined with genetic testing through services like Athletigen. They also discuss how the body performs better when it is challenged by different extremes. Next, they discuss non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, which is an epidemic that is the most common liver disorder in developed countries. In a traditional medical model, this diagnosis is considered irreversible. Mark’s father died from this disease, and Mark was also diagnosed with a cirrhotic liver. He was referred to a liver transplant specialist. Dr. Gladden and Mark walk through a number of measures that Mark took, outside of traditional medicine with Gladden’s guidance, to improve his condition. They talk about his incredible results, because his customized plan was based very specifically off his genetics.
