Janita Venema is a Dutch psychologist and therapist who has been working with families and children for over 25 years. In her work, she noticed that many parents were struggling to communicate effectively with their children, leading to misunderstandings and conflict. This inspired her to develop the PresentChild method, which helps parents and caregivers understand the underlying messages and needs behind their child's behavior. Janita Venema has written several books on the PresentChild method, including "The PresentChild: A Gift for You and Your Family" and "The PresentChild Toolkit: How to Connect and Communicate with Your Child". She has also trained many professionals, including therapists, counselors, and educators, in the use of the PresentChild method.
