About this series
He’s the devil. And she’s his wicked game.
The third and final book in the Hollow's Row Series.
Halen
I’ve created a monster.
When past and present collide, the fallout feels like the death of my morality. Every time I look into Kallum’s clashing, feverish eyes, I see a dark omen—the threat of what we’ll do to each other if our desires run wild.
While the Hollow’s Row case comes to a head, a new heinous player enters the scene. As the Alchemist threatens the town, I’m torn between a promise to help my friend, and my loyalty to Kallum—the man who has sacrificed everything for me.
I’ve created a monster—but he’s my monster. And if I can’t control Kallum’s chaotic nature, I’ll lose him…just as I’ve lost everyone I’ve loved.
There could be a future for us, but only if we don’t damn ourselves first.
Kallum
The moment Halen St. James crashed my world, I made a vow to harbor her darkness, the lovely spark who ignited my black soul. But now, it’s time for Halen to finally step out of her shadows.
I would do—and have done—anything to keep her mine. I’ve become a villain to protect her. Even from herself.
When she looks into my eyes with recognition, I’m a man reborn, redeemed by her cleansing fire. Only there’s a vital piece of our story missing, and without it, I’ll always fear losing her—a primal fear that provokes the demon within.
The truth lies somewhere in the murky marsh waters, where killers and philosophers intwine, obscuring ancient wisdoms and feasting on the sweetest nectar.
I was created for her, to devour her heartbreak, and she was designed for me, the muse to the devil himself.

The first book in the Hollow's Row series. He's the devil. And she's his wicked game. An enemies-to-lovers dark romance with a thrilling twist from the disturbed mind that brought you the Darkly, Madly Duet. Halen They say eyes are the windows to the soul—but when he looks at me through hues of slate-green and flaring blue embers, I'm terrified of what's watching me from behind his clashing gaze, something primal and feverish that threatens to melt me like fire in ice. I fear falling into Kallum Locke's pitch-black soul. But after I'm called to a crime scene to investigate the most gruesome act of violence to descend on the legendary town of Hollow's Row, I have no choice but to turn to Kallum, to the man I had locked away in an asylum for the criminally insane. He's the leading expert on all things Nietzsche and occult. And now, to get answers, I'm forced to make a deal with the devil himself. Kallum Really, eyes are the windows to the soul? Then I wonder what little Halen St. James thinks of all the cryptic eyes watching her in the killing fields... I wonder if the hairs on her delicate nape lifted away, if a thrilling shiver raced over her soft skin. She's desperate for the answer, and she'll do anything to uncover it—even make a deal with me, dangling freedom like bait on a hook. But she's far more tempting to sink my teeth into than any lure. And the pain will taste twice as sweet. *Lovely Bad Things is the first of the three-book Hollow's Row series: Book one ends on cliffhanger Lovely Bad Things Lovely Violent Things Lovely Wicked Things CW: Serial killers. He’s the devil. And she’s his wicked game. Book two in the Hollow's Row series. Halen The night I gave in to Kallum Locke, I sold my soul to the devil. Now that devil has returned for me, a daemon siphoning off what soul I have left. The Harbinger killer has descended on Hollow’s Row amid an active case, where I’ve been hired as a consultant to profile two killers. One offering gruesome sacrifices to obtain an ancient philosophy, and the other a bad omen from my past. A dark truth hovers at the edge of my memories—but is it real, or a trick by the chaos magician himself, meant to trap me in his web of lies and corruption. Kallum is too consuming, his clashing green-and-blue eyes staring into my depths, demanding I feel the frenzy he teased from my soul. I have to escape him. Kallum I’ve tasted Halen St. James, my muse of heartbreak. I’ve sank my teeth into her tender flesh, lapped at her tears, marked her as mine… So I’ll be damned if I let her go now. Not this time—not when I’m so close to revealing our truth. It’s easy to be tricked when you believe your own lies. And, oh, how my little Halen loves her pretty lies. She’s obsessed with naming me the killer. She’s afraid of me, but I’m not the danger she should fear. The moth is attracted to sweetness—and my little Halen is the sweetest damn thing. Halen needs her big bad villain to protect her. **Full CW list on author website.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5WOW what a wild ride/trip this book was I can’t believe I waited this long to listen/read this mind blowing brilliantly written book. The writing and character development was just incredible. I will admit that at times in book 1 and 2 I got a little lost trying to understand his brilliant mind/thinking, but by the end of book 3 it ALL made sense.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I hate the make narrator his voice drives me nuts sound like an old man was trying to get through it cause I listened to the first with original narrator but I can’t do it
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I devoured this series! Hands down one of the best dark romance series I’ve read to date! I’ll make my way back to book one to do a review, I promise but the need to continue this series without stopping was too much at the time.
Great narration although Kallum was portrayed a little too over dramatic by Joe Arden, but kept his character alive at the same time! - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Story was good but the male narrator was so cringy. The first two books I didn’t find him as the third… I’m not a fan of the male narrator crying and blubbering In his female voice. It was way too much. I would say 3.5 stars.
