Do you ship Internationally?

Yes, we ship to all countries having diplomatic relations with India, including USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Australia, France, Italy, etc.

IS SHIPPING FREE? OR IS IT CHARGED EXTRA?

No, prices listed on the site are inclusive of all shipping and handling charges. There are no hidden costs.

Do I need any paperwork? I take it that these are international shipments, will I have to get my consignment cleared from Customs?

No, Exotic India takes all responsibilty for delivery to your doorsteps. Our strategic alliance with UPS and Federal Express ensures that all paperwork and customs formalities are taken care of without any effort from you. In fact, for our customers, there is no difference than if the packet was shipped locally.

Do you ship by Federal Express only?

All orders more than $ 50 in value are shipped by UPS/Federal Express. Orders less than that are shipped by Registered Air Mail.

What are the shipping times? How soon can I expect delivery, if I place my order today?

Delivery is expected within 4 to 6 business days from the date of shipment. All orders are shipped within 48 hours of receipt of orders, except for orders for framed paintings. Are the shipments insured?

All orders are sent insured. Claims are provided if the shipment is lost or damaged during transit.

HOW CAN I BUY FROM WWW.EXOTICINDIAART.COM?

The process to purchase from Exotic India Art is simple. You have to visit our website www.exoticindiaart.com, where you can browse through our collection and pick the product you want to purchase. Sign up/in, add the product to your cart, click on “proceed to checkout”, fill in the required address and payment details, and you are done. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A PRODUCT TO BE DELIVERED TO US?

In normal conditions, a product from Exotic India Art takes around 3-5 business days to reach your doorstep, for all the orders from America, Europe, and Australia. However, we cannot guarantee a period for the delivery since the delivery time also depends upon security and customs clearances, flight delays, and other unforeseen circumstances. On our part, we ensure that each product reaches its destination as quickly as possible in perfect condition.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

Once the product is dispatched through FedEx or UPS, Exotic India Art will email you the tracking number for your package, through which you can track the journey of your order, on the website of FedEx or UPS. HOW LONG DOES IT USUALLY TAKE TO COMPLETE MY ORDER?

For all the deliveries in the USA, Europe, and Australia, the average delivery time is 3 to 5 business days, once you have received a confirmation for your order. In some cases, where the product price is below $50, the shipment is sent through Registered Air Mail, where the delivery takes 10 to 20 days to complete.

I am interested in a few of your Sold Items. How can I order them?

Items marked as sold are no longer in stock. However, you are welcome to email us with the item codes of your interest and we will revert to you in case similar pieces can be made available in the near future.

Do Thangka paintings come with the silk brocade, hanging rod, and silk veil? I could not see them on the site.

Yes, all thangkas come with the customary veil, rod, and brocade. The pictures on the site detail only the unique aspect of the paintings.

Are framing services available? I could not view them.

Yes, we do provide a paid option for framing. You can select this option once you click on the product thumbnail.

What kind of frame mould and matting do you use?

High quality frame moulds, along with a matching pure silk mat is used for framing. The mould and mat are carefully selected from dozens of combinations, the selection being dependant entirely upon the artwork.

Where do I specify my measurements for the Blouse/Petticoat for the Sari, or those for a Made to Order Salwar Kameez?

After you add the garment of your choice to your shopping cart (by clicking on the "Buy It" button) a size chart will appear, from which you can select your size number.

Are these items one of a kind? Can I order for more than 1 piece?

Indeed, the items showcased on the site are hand-picked, unique artworks, and only in exceptional cases are more than one of a kind are available.

What are stone colors?

Stone colors are water-colors made from stones. For example, green color is creeated from Malachite stone, blue from Lapis Lazuli, and so on. This unique Indian method of preparation of colors has been passed down from generations, since hundreds of years ago, when it was discovered.

What do you mean by 'antiquated'? Are they antiques? Do you deal in antiques?

The Government of India does not allow for the sale of any article more than 100 years old outside India. We do not deal in antiques. The antiquated artworks are artworks which are provided an old look about them by the artist. In most cases they are no older than 20 to 30 years.

These artworks are so beautiful, are they prints? If they are original, how are they so inexpensive?

All artworks on the site are original, created by accomplished artists, who have learnt their skills from their earlier generations. Exotic India sources all artworks directly from these artists, because of which we are able to offer these unique works at reasonable costs to the buyer.

Do you have a catalog?

Our artworks are unique and non-duplicable. Though many pieces may look similar, no two pieces can be exactly the same. For this reason, we have found that a Printed Catalog of our products may carry only a very limited profile of our articles. Our online store is thus the best possible reflection of the products we can offer.

CAN I REPLACE AN ITEM?

In case of a replacement for an item, the request has to be made within 7 days of the purchase date. The product for replacement should be in original condition, unused, and packed in its package with its tags and labels. Return the product to our address, where after assessing the condition of the product we will initiate a refund, which will be reflected in your source of payment in 1-2 billing cycles. Yes, prices are quoted in US Dollars.

For back order items, the time mentioned is approximate only. We try our best to have them shipped within the stated time. However, since all our products are hand made, delay is possible due to circumstances beyond our control.
