I am not sure what to say about this book. It is easy to read and harmless. To me, it seemed to ramble and go nowhere, with very little coherent storyline. There are no dramatic twists and turns, it is simply a story of two women, their friendship and their relationships. It started with an amusing incident in a hotel in Zante, just after the two women have finished their final exams at university. It then fast forwards some ten years to another holiday, where one of the women is recovering from the trauma of betrayal by her fiancé. I kept waiting for something momentous to happen, but it never did. The final holiday is with Jenny’s boyfriend’s parents, and has its moments, though some of them seem irrelevant to the main story. Summer reading, with pleasant characters and no disappointments, amusing, but very forgettable.

Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book 📖

I've read a few by this author and yet again, this did not disappoint.

Perfect summer read

Jenny is in a perfect relationship with Zack, shes about to take her BF Sarah to Rome to get over her break up with her cheating fiancee. While she's away she realises how lucky she is to have Zack.

We follow Zacks and Jenny's relationship progress with moving in together to their first holiday with his parents.

But like any relationship there are some speed bumps, while on holiday, Jenny meets an old family friend who is still very clingy to Zack and Jenny feels jealous, will this jealousy come in between them or will Jenny see Zack for the loving guy he is.

I really enjoyed this book. I did predict what was going to happen a couple of times but do expect that more in this type of fiction. I also love books where the main pet is a cat not a dog!

A good light hearted summer read. I could tell as the story went along what was going to happen. It’s just a story about to women and their friendship and relationships. A good beach read.
