[close] Our books relate to zero waste, and related topics: sustainability, climate crisis, plastic pollution etc. We meet on zoom monthly. Reading the book is encouraged but not required. We're usually 10-12 people. If more than 10 we divide into breakout rooms.

[close] This is a group dedicated to authors of books dealing with the natural world, science, environmental issues, and the like. Discuss your favorite authors, recommend books and ask questions of other authors and network.

[close] Tree Huggers Book Club, a program run by the Highland Neighbors for Sustainability in Highland, Indiana, has as its mission to read and discuss literary works of all genres that contain an environmental thread, to raise awareness about related issues, such as the climate crisis and environmental justice; to foster good caretakers of our Earth; to enjoy stimulating literary conversation; and to promote a sense of community among members. Tree Huggers meets in-person quarterly, is free, and open to the public.
