And we are here wA brand new hot hockey sports romance by the queen of all hockey romances, that will have you melting for Dallas & Hemi...
[image]
And we are here with the third installment to the Toronto Terror series. And what a continued story this one is! From book one, you can tell that there was something going on with Hemi & Dallas; from the way that she picked on him, and the way that he took that picking up and still cherished every single one of the picking moments. HE WAS A GONER! Dallas & Hemi have known each other since they were kids. Went to the same school together; practically grew up together. And like any typical childhood romance story, this one has your typical "oh boy pulled on my braids" and "I only did it because I ACTUALLY LIKE YOU" type of scenario. This is their story.
And what a passionate and emotional story it is! After decades of knowing each other, and them working together; Dallas being a hockey player and Hemi being the team's head PR representative. Both are brought up to spend time together at work, and sometimes outside of work because of their mutual friends. And when the world brings them again together to end up in a fake relationship/engagement, this is the opportunity that Dallas gets to take to try to convince Hemi to be his. He has wanted Hemi for such a long time, and now that he is able to touch her, hold her hand, make her smile, kiss her, hug her, MAKE HER ORGASM... the man is on top of the world.
This story was truly the story I needed to read at this moment. The whole "dominatrix" vibes I got from Hemi mixed with the golden retriever vibes from Dallas was such a different point of view that I don't believe I have ever had the chance to read in a romance novel. I was for sure digging it, and I am positive many more of Helena's readers will too. With that being said, I am still on my hands and knees for Tally & Flip's story... Helena honey... I NEED THEIR STORY NOW!

Mogan is a new to me author. And after reading Passenger Princess, I knew that she was going to be an instant favorite for me! My gosh, she did not disappoint. I am a sucker for a single father romance, and this one hit the spot for sure. Nate and Jules are spitting characters that one straight from a magical world of your typical Christmas romance. The best kind of Christmas romance that is. Because these two, from the moment they met, you know from reading that they are meant to be.
Their story starts in a very non-typical way, but ends with all the goodness of a true romance story that makes your feet kick back and forth, and giggle with lots of love and appreciation for Morgan's writing. And the relationship between Jules and Sophie was just the cutest! I love reading a natural born relationship between two characters that are just meant to be together as a family.
I am looking forward to reading more Morgan's books! Her writing is the type of writing that truly lets you dive into the best of the romance novels feelings ...more

When this book arrived to my attention as a potential read, the synopsis and I won't lie; the cover hooked me in. Was I expecting to instantly fall in love with it? Yes, actually I was. Did I? No, sadly because I had really high expectations. This book I would rationally give it a 3.5, maybe closer to 3 from the beginning of its story.
This story is not perfect. And not a story that after being 24% through, I would normally grab and thoroughly read it. The density and its heavy weight of emotional turmoil between both characters really did give me a headache at first. There were plenty of things that bothered me about both characters that are Cassidy aka Pip, and Aiden. But surprisingly enough, I could not put this book down! I lost some minor sleep actually because I simply wanted to, urgently wanted to know what would happen next. Finally when the truth came out, you could feel that heavy weight being dropped and the book itself felt lighter as well.
When I first got this book I thought; "Oh great, a new author! Let's give this a try!" And after doing some thorough Goodreads search on Ava, I realized that I have read her books in the past already. I guess my feelings have not changed on her writing.
Overall, I did enjoy my time reading this novel. It was emotionally heavy that's for sure. The headache from those emotions will slowly go away. This is the kind of book I would recommend for those angst emotional readers that would like to go on a rollercoaster ride filled with all kinds of feelings.

I never thought that a camThe lawyer romance that will keep you warm this fall season with the palpable chemistry between Reese & Dawson...

I never thought that a cameo of Dawson in Ann's previous books would turn into one of my favorites in this series. And on top of that, one of my favorite lawyer romances that I have read in a while. After Ann released the synopsis, I knew I would fall hard for Dawson. He is ruthless and gets what he wants, whenever he wants. And him being introduced with such a grumpy exterior in the previous books in this series, allured more to wanting to know more about him.
And Reese, oh my sweet hearted and lovable Reese; she took me by surprise as well by how much I sympathized with her and truly found her character beyond endearing with a strong dose of independent resilience. Everything about her from start to finish made me adore her through every page. Her chemistry with Dawson from page one is as well a scorching match. With Dawson's internal struggles to keep his distance from Reese, no matter how much he craves her, makes the story better. And when they finally let their cards out on the table, these two are ones to truly want to read and thoroughly enjoy;
“Being this close to you makes me want to throw out every rational notion and kiss you.”
Thank you to Ann Einerson for this advance copy. I am beyond excited for everyone to enjoy Dawson's and Reese's story as much as I did. And with the little cameo snippets in this story featuring Harrison and Fallon, I just KNOW that Ann's next book will be fire.

The enemies to friends to lovers, single father romance that I did not know I needed but fell first and hard for...

My addiction for any sinThe enemies to friends to lovers, single father romance that I did not know I needed but fell first and hard for...
[image]
My addiction for any single father romance runs wild and does not ever stop. So when Lyla Sage introduced Augustus in her first book Done and Dusted, I knew I would be falling hard and fast. And I was not wrong. And when you combine the fire spirited that is Teddy, my insides melted for them both. Two characters that from a mile away you can spot and know will end up together and combust every page you turn. Their initial chemistry was brief and their back story went straight to the point. Miss Sage was not here to waste anyone's time and I appreciate that in a story of this caliper.
Besides having a grumpy, cowboy, single father who would do anything for his little girl, with the most delicious ride inducing mustache in this story; it was such a fresh of breath air to read about Teddy and her internal struggles. Inner struggles that any woman, (including myself) would be having at her time and stage. My emotions got the best of me because of Teddy, in better of ways. Lyla has written a story that I never thought I would be able to find compassion and understanding towards a female character in such an in depth way.
And when Gus opens himself up to truly understanding and getting to know Teddy in a deeper level, he falls for her hard;
"Teddy shone in this dingy bar. She said hi to everyone as they moved out of her way, making them feel special that they got back in her light for however long they were talking to her...
There were parts of Teddy that would always belong to the world around her, but that didn't matter because there were also parts of her that were all mine... Mine."
Teddy and Gus came to deliver, and delivered they did! This has to be my favorite book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series. And with the small preview we get of her next novel in the series, I am truly excited to see how Lyla will be playing with my emotions because I can already tell that Cam & Dusty will be stumping on my heart fragile heart.

There is no Helena Hunting novel without your true sports experience, and in this second installment to the Toronto Terror series, she has done it once again. When she first introduced Hollis and Aurora in If You Hate Me, I knew I was a goner and would fall instantly. I just did not expect to fall this hard. Aurora's personally is one that I gravitated towards. Her instant vibe of wanting to be an independent and professionally talented woman is what caught my love to truly love her. She knows what she wants and goes head strong to get it. Her infatuation towards Hollis is one of the many things that makes her determine to catch and go head strong towards. The age difference between them both does not stop her, but it does make her uneasy of what her father, who is best friends with Hollis, could possibly think.
For Hollis, his true admiration towards Aurora is to instantly fall for her. He has always been a part of her life since she was little, but at some point of appropriateness, he started looking at her differently. He saw the true Aurora, the now mature woman that knows what she wants, and he knows that he wants her as much as or even more as she does to him. And once they both give in into their temptations and true attraction, there is no stopping them. There is no stopping the way that Hollis feels for Aurora as well. Their attraction is palpable, but his feelings for her are beyond that. They are a couple that are truly meant to be in this fictional lifetime, and in the next as well.
Helena has brought yet again another fun sport romance that is for the taking. You dive into it and you should expect to dive into it deep. This series is an instant favorite that's for sure, and I am truly excited to what else she has in store for the rest of the characters. Here is me keeping my fingers crossed that she will be matching Flip & Tally together, but with Helena, you never know what she will write and surprise us all!

When Ann announced that Cash's story was next in the series, my feet kept kicking back and forth with excitement! And when I started reading his story with Everly, I knew that the excitement was well anticipated. Cash is such a cocky male character, but cocky in a way that is well deserved. And Everly is this strong minded woman that is a total bad ass. Seeing Cash after years of not seeing each other was a sigh for sour eyes for her. The instant attraction was there and the chemistry was present as well. Their fake relationship starts as fake, but slowly progresses to having their feelings being validated by being real.
I loved everything about these two, and their banter was so fun to read. I truly enjoyed myself while reading their story. I cannot wait to see what else Ann has in store!

Maddy and Saint have officially engraved themselves into my heart with their palpable chemistry. It's their love and desires that at a time where both did not expect they would need each other, made itself present and arrived at the peak of time of their lives. How do I sWhen a fake engagement becomes a long love story that truly will swoon you and melt you away, wanting more of Matthew Flanagan...
[image]
How do I start this review? By saying how OBSSESED I am with Matthew Flanagan? And by ending it by saying that I am ADDICTED with Matthew Flanagan? Yup! That's what's going to happen. Because this man... **sighs** he knows. HE KNOWS how to make a girl feel special. He knows how to love, how to adore, how to protect, and most of all; how to be present for Josie. Matthew is the epitome of the perfect man that will emotionally understand you and know when you are needed, even when you think you don't need him. Which is why his persona is such a beautiful balance to Josie's chaotic, yet minimal life.
The sweet next door, small town girl that is a coffee shop owner, and the town mayor comes to life in this sequel. She was already a staple in The Long Game, but as the main character of her own book, she knows how to shine. Even when she doesn't think she is the main character and deserves all that the world can give her, Matthew comes along and makes her flutter and fly;
"Beautiful things shouldn't be boxed. It eventually dims their light..."
Matthew comes along like a force to be reckoned with to save the day for Josie when she is in a time of need and desperation. And what a swoon way does he swoop in. With all his charm and... **glasses** and his smirks, and his **glasses**... OH! And how can I forget his lovable presence, and his **glasses**. Have I gotten by point across? If not then just know that as much as Josie literally becomes speechless at the presence of Mathew wearing his glasses, my eyes spark heart emojis at his fictional presence. Matthew has known from the very first knowledge of Josie, that there was something about her that was going to end him;
"Josie had always been technicolor in my head. Not white..."
Elena has written some incredible, drool worthy romances that's for sure. But this story... it hits it you right in the feels. It punches right in the gut. It knocks you right in the head. All body parts are far gone with how much magic and true love there is between Josie & Matthew. And the more beautiful part about this angst of a novel, is how breath taking each and every interaction Josie has with Matthew, how she is vulnerable about many things but at the same time is head strong and determined to fix things for other people and their reputations with no repercussion as to how it might affect her heart. And after having four engagements that truly, both on paper and off paper did not suit her, this fake engagement with Matthew draws a fine line of what is real and what is not. But no matter what happens, Josie learns that her emotions are true about Mathew;
"I knew in that moment. I simply knew. I'd never wanted a smile—a man— more than I did him. I'd never loved like I did him..."
My new found love for Matthew is one that will forever be engraved into my heart. He is the type of character that truly knows how to make a reader's heart flutter. And Elena has truly done the reader's justice because Matthew and Josie have this palpable chemistry that makes the heat curl from your toes to your head. With every scorching glance and minimal touch, with every smile and every heated commotion; Josie & Matthew are the it couple that truly defines the real meaning of "romance".
Elena, you already know that I am proud of you, my darling. Y ese orgullo nunca se disminuirá. Your writing will forever embark into being part of my life as much as our friendship. And I am not going anymore young lady, so be ready to be stuck with me for a long time. And be prepared to keep writing these fantastic and magical stories of yours that will never stop shining through every word and every page ♡

It should not come as a surprise that Tessa has once again written a rom-com that will have everyone on their knees. It sure had ME on my knees. Golf romances are new to me. Every time I think of golf my mind goes to "Happy Gilmore", and I love that movie. Reading about Wells and Josephine made me love it even more. I adore and admire everything that is the same yet different about Tessa's writing. Her vibe is always the same, but the story plots are always unique and obsessive. Down right feral obsessive.
And then she goes ahead and writes about Wells. OH MY GOD! This man is everything and so much more. Fire ignites from the pages when reading about him and Josephine. Their relationship, like most of Tessa's books, is semi insta-love. Definitely insta-lust. It defines them being friends to lovers, but friends that truly get to know each other deeply emotionally. Their banter was also **chef's kiss** lovely! And I love how Tessa doesn't hesitate to write sexual scenes that you would not expect at all if you are a new reader of hers. Even as an OG reader of hers, her writing takes me by surprise sometimes.
I am truly looking forward to the rest of this series. Especially the "single father" trope she is releasing next!

➳Personally, I am not the biggest fan of historical romance... I used to be, however, my love for it stopped after reading OUTLANDER and after watching the show as well, my love for it decided to diminish all together. But let me tell you something, my admiration for historical romance has returned again after reading this masterpiece of a novel. One really cannot fall in love with the story if not interested in the whole aspect of being part of German history. So if you are not a fan of said subject than I do not recommend this book at all. Myself on the other hand, my obsession for German history runs in my blood. I am so glad Brianna asked me to review her novel, but at the same time "WHY BRIANNA!"
➳The reason being is because there is so much that runs through this story that one really cannot and should not state to the public unless you want to be spoiled. My gosh! This story covers all the bases of being part of the German world during a time period in which drags you to the point of believing every word that Brianna writes. The drama, the action, the angst, it all just accumulates all together to make you fall in love with the story and wanting to know what is on the next page or what is to follow up next of Brianna's books.
➳My body for sure heated up in certain scenes and I am not ashamed to admit that Brianna has a big freaking dirty mind (love you babe) but a mind with so much wonders and creative ideas that need to be exploited to the world one hundred percent. Overall, this story is for the audience that looks for the mystery behind German history (that rhymes) with the mixture of a romance novel that will have you yearning for the love and passion that Evony and the broody, older, and handsome Reinhardt have to offer.

When TThe single father romance that is going to make this summer even hotter with what Burgess and his dirty mouth bring to this story...
[image]
When Tessa Bailey first introduced Burgess and Tallulah in Fangirl Down, my instant obsession of a single father/nanny romance kicked in and got me beyond hyped. And then when this puppy landed on my kindle one beautiful and even better Friday morning, I knew that I was going to have an incredible weekend. And my gosh did I devour this story in two days!
Burgess is a Boston hockey player, who is also a single father trying his very hardest to balance the life of a father and a famous hockey star. His career is coming to a near end, him being 37 years old has finally caught up to him physically. And the connection that he tries to have but does not know how with his 12 year old daughter, comes to a situation of dragging him emotionally as well. So when the opportunity arrises for Burgess to hire Tallulah as a live in nanny, he does it in a heartbeat. His instant attraction towards Tallulah is palpable through every page. When the time comes for her to officially move in with Burgess, her hesitation is one that I can truly understand. Tallulah at an instant seems to understand Burgess' daughter and her pre-teen ways. And adding that to his enamor attraction towards Tallulah, Burgess grows even more effatuated with her. But their personalities could not be any more different, especially with Tallulah's past as well as trying to find ways to change it, and Burgess' current present of being stuck in one place. Even so, these two characters make every page worth reading because of how obsessive they turn you as a reader. And that is the power of Tessa's writing.
And let's not forget about the most important part; the dirty talk. The scorching dirty talk that comes from this growly, surly of a man. Oh he knows what he is doing and much more. Combining that with how soft of a teddy bear he also is, and Tallulah's attention and ways of submitting to him is what makes these two one of the favorite couples of the year;
"Only had it once, but I remember this pussy like the back of my goddam hand. It's wet and tight and it's mine..."
This story brings to the table so much more than our daddy Burgess. It brings the best qualities if Tallulah and the battles that she has to fight on her own. But also the protective energy and ways that Burgess wants to give and show to her, even after knowing her past. This story will be a favorite for many! And just as one when I finished reading Fangirl Down, after finishing this one, Tessa already has me giggling and anticipating her next novel. The step-sibling trope is coming our way!

Tessa has been talking about this novel for such a long time, and when the time came where I was finally laying in bed and started reading it, my anticipation took me to another level. I was beyond giddy and excited. And in all reality, she did not disappoint once again. I will always say that when it comes down to Tessa's books. She always leaves me in such a comfort mood. No matter what she is writing. This book was for sure a bit different to her other most recent novels that she has written, and I devoured it. Beat and Melody bring such a power couple in this novel. At first I was hesitant but giving it a shot was worth it. Melody and Beat made me mad, cry, laugh and all the emotions in between. And all the side characters truly make this story even more appealing, and beyond hilarious!!

THIS BOOK! THIS BOOOOOOOOOOOK! Elena, my dear Elena... my lovely friend from far away, your stroking fingers and brilliant mind know what they are doing. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING! I knew from the moment that you texted me about Cameron, that he was going to be my ultimate daddy that I have been craving for a while now. The daddy of all daddy's. Not that this is a daddy trope... **cough cough** but my daddy issues make me feel like a little girl, twirling her hair when reading more about Cameron. He is just so suave and rough simultaneously and it makes me melt. And Adelyn? Being a bad ass of a super star is an understatement. Her character as a whole makes me love her and admire.
Enemies to lovers is yet another understatement of what an incredible trope this story is. Cameron and Adelyn's initial interaction makes you instantly fall in love with their power chemistry. Two individuals from different worlds, collide and meet to help out a team of little girls and their little league soccer team. With time, and more unintentional interactions in this small town, Cam and Adelyn cannot deny that their undeniable chemistry is there. And though Adelyn has some internal battles of her own that keep her at arms length, she knows that denying her attraction towards Cameron is not something she can live with for a long time;
"You were looking at me the way you are now. Just like that. I didn't want it to end." His words were soft, barely a whisper. "Like what?" "Like I'm something precious. Worth look at." His face fell. "Why would you think otherwise?" "Because no one ever looks at me that way."
Their road towards getting to know one another leads them to really open up in ways they would never thought they ever would with a partner. And once Cameron sees her. Truly, honorably sees Adelyn and her touch exterior breaks down, he knows that she is someone that he wants. Someone he craves and will be addicted to from that moment on;
"She's not a prize to be won." I took the elastic from her."She's... not a game. She's more than something you win. She's more than a loss. She's everything that's worth playing for. She's everything in between."
Not only do we get this magical of a story featuring Cameron and Adelyn, but Elena has introduced side characters that will make you fall for them all. Especially Maria, and her anxious filled and blind goat, Brandy. These two are goofballs in the making and made my stomach hurt with how much I kept laughing at their interactions with Cam and Adelyn. And of course, we cannot forget San Sebastián, because Elena's love for Sebastian Stan a.k.a. Bucky, comes in a form of hilarious rooster in this story. Oh, and Willow and Pierogi, oh gosh. These two feline friends make me crack up. Their possessive streak is on a run and I love everything about it.
This story is beyond anything that Elena has written thus far. And as her friend, it is truly a beauty and honor getting to see her go through this journey. I am beyond proud of her. And after all is said and done, readers will want more of Cameron just as much as I do!
