Suitability:very good

Very worth it if you just want to truly learn. Price is good for its quality, will buy again.

NOTE: Only concern was, the books were not put inside a box or any additional protective layer. Only 1 layer of bubble wrap. Causing the books to have dents on the sides.

Hope seller put at least 2 layer of bubble wrap

A reprinted version of the original copy.

Small in size and the fonts are really small, around point 5-6 only making it difficult to read. Cover could have been hard as the softcover is damaged at the spine towards the back.

Packaging was wrapped securely but no bubble wrap.

Perhaps seller can re print and increase the font size for easy readability.

This book is totally the North Star when it comes to designing scalable data-intensive applications. It’s a truly amazing read! Great addition to my book collection.
The definitive guide to data systems
Tobias· Review provided by booktopia.com.au · March 21, 2021
This is an encyclopedic tour of the principles and techniques that form the foundation of data engineering and designing applications that use data.

Rather than focusing on specific technologies or tools, Kleppmann dives deep into the low-level technical details and underlying principles of modern data systems.

A modern classic and one of the best technical books I've read in years. Going to be a permanent addition to my bookshelf next to DDD and others.
