We a know the solvent capabilities of WD( water dispersal) -40. Only after the local , bumble**ck DOT here in Tennessee permitted me& my 95 Jeep Cherokee to pass thru JUST SPRAYED ROAD-TACK TOP COAT , and well after the hour long appt I attended across town , did I walk out to leave & notice the ENTIRE LOWER HALF OF THE JEEP was , literally, bathed in asphalt top coat. Dripping and over 1/2" thick. By that time , it had dried, too. I tried everything including kerosene = no luck. I discovered WD-40 purportedly dissolved this stuff. I tested it w my household can and while it took 4 applications & wipes then repeating for each square foot , I got every last bit of it off the Jeep. It took me 5 consecutive weekends and 2 gallons of WD-40. I also used soft brush , large sponge , a dishwashing mit , 3m odor & vapor blocking masks and 1 Dupont hazmat suit . Countless sheets of Home Essentials Direct packing paper I'd saved for absorbing such fluids also came in handy. I hope no other human has to go thru such an ordeal but, if you do , & you need industrial size clean up of bitumen off of an automobile thanks to your local , inbred, spiteful , imbecilic DOT employees not doing their job correctly well, WD-40 can help you make it thru such an occurrence.

Cheapest price I've seen, and I don't have to leave the house. That's worth a couple bucks at least on top too! Too many uses to list. I used to tell people, the best gift for a man, especially an older man, is always another flashlight. Honestly, this might top that. You're not truly an old man unless you have this product. Plus, seeing a gallon can in a box, with 1 bubble bag. I mean, Home Essentials Direct gave my cast iron skillet 2 bubble bags! Come'on really? This WD40 cost more than the skillet? It should at least get 2 bubble bags.

This is a bargain, just be sure to shake up the can well before filling your other containers. Aerosol cans tend to lose pressure before the contents are used up. I fill old bathroom cleaner pump bottles with this and they always work. WD 40 is the old time go-to lubricant for just about anything. This and a roll of duct tape should be in everyone’s home tool kit.

I fill spray bottles (good ones, intended for chemicals) from the big can and scatter them to the garage, basement, car trunks, garden shed. Wherever metal gets wet, I clean it and spray with WD-40. garage door springs, car door latches, digging and cutting tools, lawn mower. Stops rusts, lubricates, cleans. Give me WD-40 and Duct Tape: problem solved
