    Good CPU for a budget gaming rig. It maintains 4.4 GHz on all cores during gaming. But never turbo boosts to 4.6 GHz. All cores have hit 4.5 GHz turbo boost but that is 1.0 GHz slower than intel says it can do. Also get a budget tower cooler as while gaming this CPU hit over 90C with the intel stock cooler. I gave it 4 stars due to this. If it would have boosted to 4.6 GHz I would have gave it 5 stars.

That likes to keep consumption as low as practical. 2 cores, 4 threads at 51w TDP. to 4 cores, 8 threads at 65w TDP. Together with a new motherboard and ram. Has provided quite an improvement.
    the quoted up to 4.6 turbo has only gone to 4.4 turbo. Using 48 watts at the cpu. Considering that a single core does the majority of the basic tasks. I am very happy with it.
