Brushless DC motors, so-called EC/BLDC motors, do not have carbon brushes and in principle work like three-phase synchronous motors. This is achieved by means of an electrical circuit (Hall) which actuates the coils one after the other. As a result, the EC motor has a long service life and is maintenance-free. In general, these motors can be used for dynamic and higher speeds with constant torque. The EC/BLDC motors are used, among other things, in packaging and inspection technology, such as sensor and camera movements - also in the food, outdoor and spray water sectors.
