Bruno, a young deserter, searches for his estranged brother Leo in Porto Alegre. Unable to find Leo, he befriends Leo's circle, discovering a new world to explore his identity and sexuality, forming an unconventional family.

Inspired by "Voyage to the land of Brazil" by Jean de Léry, this short follows the adventures of Nicolas Durand, from Villegagnon, and the estabilishment of a French colony in 16th-century Rio de Janeiro.

Fred is a blind boy who lives alone with his mother. Out of his dull routine, in which nothing ever changes, he speculates continually about the color of things and claims to prefer the color white, which represents for him everything that is unattainable.

At her mother's wake, the filmmaker's uncle tells her a surprising story: when young, her father had been a rich man, he had had some kind of mysterious problem and ran away to Mato Grosso. The filmmaker starts to investigate her father's past, in the 40s and 50s and ends up finding out a family secret.

A lonely writer has his routine changed by the presence of his new maid - Lady Custodia.
