Rachel Miller is a founding partner of Haven Entertainment, a management and production company based in Los Angeles. Haven Entertainment is a dynamic entertainment company that has gained recognition by producing award-winning documentary and narrative feature films. The company also represents top writers, directors, animators and improvisers, and works with brands to develop cutting edge digital content.
Miller specializes in intellectual property (IP) development and has sold over two-dozen book titles to major publishers. Recently, she sold New York Times best-selling author James Frey's book Insomniac to St. Martin's Press, and subsequently sold the film rights to Fox 2000 in a six-figure deal. On the management side, Miller's clients have worked across every entertainment platform and have sold numerous screenplays and television shows. Her clients have worked on such acclaimed television shows as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Simpsons, Parks and Recreation, House of Lies, and Family Guy.
Additionally, Miller produced the documentary Under the Electric Sky which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. This 3D film chronicles festival-goers in Las Vegas during the Electric Daisy Carnival, the largest music festival in the US. The film is co-directed by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz, the team that produced Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, and directed Katy Perry: Part of Me. Focus recently released the film.
Miller is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
