The Lost Pharaoh: The Search for Akhenaten

The oldest and perhaps first doc on Akhenaten. A difficult line of study because Amarna was lost, forgotten and destroyed. Dr. Redford and his crew uncover the city and have laid the foundation for centuries of investigation and discovery. At 89 in 2023 the doctor may no be going back to Egypt but his work is his witness! This video that sketches his decades of work is online via the University of Toronto. I hope to obtains some of his books and visit Egypt. He and his wife's work are inspiring generations of followers of Akhenaten!
