- TriviaThis video game was released on the same day as another James Bond video game, James Bond 007: Blood Stone (2010).
- ErroresThe name "Janus" is mispronounced throughout the game. Every character says it like "janice", but the proper pronunciation is like "yanus." Strangely, Judi Dench mispronounces the name in this game despite having pronounced it correctly in the 1995 Goldeneye feature film.

So why make a direct adaptation of a 15 year old movie that's quite literally NO ONE's favorite James Bond movie?
Well because they wanted to trick people into thinking it was a remake of the Rareware game
But the N64 version has practically nothing similar storywise to the movie while this game actually follows it fairly closely So that goes without saying that both games are unrecognizable from one another because obviously it plays nothing like it either.
But that's okay because it's actually pretty fun
It has bad gameplay decisions that definitely bogs the experience down like easy as sin Quick Time Events and the god awful final boss but nothing does that as much as the ridiculously long loading screens that happen every single time you die.
Games aren't meant to be easy And dying is key to getting better So you should probably try your damned hardest to optimize that
It turns a very smooth and fast paced shooter into a slog on the harder difficulties.
