Shocking how bad this episode and the start of the season is. Won't dive into the countless scenes, but the Anna one ... just ... dumb writers can't write a good drama or tension so they force this...

In a house full of guests nobody hears Anna. And that idiot had the courage to do this? Why? Because she wouldn't tell anyone? Makes 0 sense.

Not saying that never happened, but Anna's character makes you think she would say.

And that bs with MrBates would kill him, sorry , since when that is allowed with 0 punishment in 192X ...

Now it makes all the other plotlines irellevant... not to mention Mary was a drag before Matthew not again. Why would we watch the show?
