Anecdotes
Remington Steele (1982) centers on the eponymous "face" of the Detective Agency, portrayed by Pierce Brosnan , and his partnership with Laura Holt (Stephanie Zimbalist). In the case of this allusion by Piper, Sam is "Remington Steele", because Eddie's new clients are a result of her involvement.

Gaffes
Sam mentions a decapitated head. There's no such thing. It's a severed head and it once belonged to a now decapitated body. Decapitate literally means to rid something of its head. You can't remove a head from itself.
