He worked as the sports and photo editor of The Courier, a newspaper
based in Middletown, New Jersey. Director Kevin Smith, a frequent
contributor to the newspaper as a student at Henry Hudson High School,
used a copy of The Courier as a prop in his debut film, "Clerks".
