Lumea e a mea

No pun intended - since I am not too aware of the Romanian film/movie landscape I am not going to pretend to know if this is just another movie that tries to shock and is in the same vein as the "others" ... I just am not able to confirm or deny this allegation I read in another users review. I'll take that reviewers word for it ... but can't rate or see it in his or her eyes.

Talking about perspective, the movie is told from the perspective of a teenage girl ... one that is more than just troubled. The issues she has are not just from the outside (be it family, friends, school, boys, girls and other stuff that she has to deal with), but also from within herself. So it won't be easy to completely identify with her I reckon ... and the ending will not really seem like a resolve of much ... you'll have to make up your own interpretation of what the very last frame is telling us ... is it literal or metaphorical? I'd say the latter ... but feel free to disagree.
