After supplying fans with nearly five decades of pop and dance anthems, Cher announced she may have one project left to release. During an interview at the London’s Lyceum Theatre Monday in support of her new memoir, Cher: The Memoir, Part One, the singer said her next album is “probably my last.”
“I’m really excited,” Cher said of the project, according to The Sun. “They are great songs and I’m just really excited that I’m doing it. I’m really excited to be doing anything now.

In an age when more and more games have taken on the continual live-service model, only so many can gain traction (some only last a few days). Given how many falter, it’s a badge of honor that the Og, 2004’s World of Warcraft, has survived so long that it’s nearly old enough to drink. Two decades is a long time — multiple generations in the gaming industry — and though World of Warcraft has had its share of ups and downs, the fact it is still going strong after 20 years...

YouTuber Anthony Vincent has built up a large following with his impressive covers of songs in different styles. This time around, he is uniting two artists who feuded earlier this year by singing the Britney Spears hit “…Baby One More Time” in the style of Ozzy Osbourne.
This past summer, during an episode of The Osbournes podcast, the metal icon said he was “fed up” with the pop star’s penchant for posting dancing videos on her social media channels, calling it “very sad.” Britney then responded by writing, “I’m gonna … tell the Osbourne family who is the most boring family known to mankind to kindly fuck off!”
Ozzy then sorta apologized, saying, “I’m so sorry for making that comment. However, it would be better if you didn’t do the same fuckin’ dance every day. Change a few movements!”

We found out last year that the 1986 rock ‘n roll horror film Trick or Treat, one of my all-time favorite movies, would be getting a Blu-ray and 4K Uhd release from Synapse Films. They were originally aiming for a Halloween 2023 release, but since they missed that month they ended up giving the movie a limited edition release last month. Those 6,666 units sold out so fast, with fans crashing the Synapse Films website along the way, that the company has now wisely decided to put together a standard edition of the Blu-ray and 4K Uhd release as well. Today, they announced that the street date for the standard edition is March 11th.
Directed by Charles Martin Smith from a screenplay by Rhet Topham, Joel Soisson, and Michael S. Murphey (with an uncredited polish from the Final Destination duo of James Wong and Glen Morgan), Trick or Treat has the following synopsis:...

After a generic DVD run and Blu-rays released outside the U.S. market under the name Ragman, Synapse Films has answered the prayers of many horror-metal fans with the recent 4K release of 1986’s Trick or Treat. Having “No Wimps” and “No False Metal,” this film is considered by many to be the quintessential heavy metal horror flick, partially thanks to a perfectly apropos soundtrack provided by the band Fastway.
After constantly being harassed by the cool kids at his high school, Eddie Weinbauer aka “Ragman” finds solace in listening to the music of his idol Sammi Curr to get through the abuse. Not only is he a famous heavy metal star, but Curr is also an alum at Eddie’s high school where he became an outcast-made-good into metal stardom. Ozzy Osbourne has designed a custom T-shirt in an effort to ban trophy hunting, joining other celebrities in a worldwide campaign.
The metal icon has teamed up with the UK organization The Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting to raise money and awareness to abolish hunting for sport.
“Trophy hunters are totally crazy,” stated Ozzy. “You’ve got to be barking to kill an innocent animal and then take photos of yourself laughing about it.”
He continued, “We’ve all got to do our bit. I like to design things so I’ve done a t-shirt for the Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting. The government said it would ban hunting trophies, so get on with it! Tell your MP you want it banned right now! Get yourself an Ozzy t-shirt for Christmas and help save the animals!”

Sharon Osbourne has been in the public eye for decades. Recently, she shocked her fans with her new face. So, what did she do to it this time, and did she finally go too far? What’s the latest?
Sharon Osbourne Has Been In The Public Eye For Decades
As longtime Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne fans know, Sharon has been by Ozzy’s side for decades. Throughout that time, she has assumed a variety of different roles. She went from being Ozzy’s wife to starring in their own family reality show. These days, she regularly appears on the family podcast as well.
In recent years, Sharon also made the transition to talk show host and more. All these years later, she still manages to remain a public figure in her own right, and not just because of her ties to her famous husband, either.

Saturday Night Live had some fun at hair metal’s expense last night (November 9th). A sketch called “Sex Rock CD” featured the episode’s host, comedian Bill Burr, longing for the days of “rockin’ tunes about living fast, dying young, and doing sex.”
In the skit, Burr plays a father working on his motorcycle in the garage when his teenage son (played by new SNL cast member Emil Wakim) walks in and is blown away by the guitar rock his dad is listening to, exclaiming, “Whoa, what’s this music? I’ve never heard anything like this before.”

“This is real music, from when I was growing up,” responds Burr’s character. “No auto-tune, no mumble rap, just musicians.” The son then asks, “What was it called?,” with the dad answering, “’80s sex rock!”

At the end of “The Daily Show’s” live election special Tuesday night, as it became clear that Donald Trump was heading toward another victory, Jon Stewart delivered heartfelt closing remarks.
“This isn’t the end! I promise you, this is not the end,” the host declared as he ended the hour-long Comedy Central broadcast. “And we have to regroup and we have to continue to fight and continue to work day in and day out to create the better society for our children, for this world, for this country that we know is possible. It’s possible.”
But when cameras stopped rolling at midnight, Stewart took a few moments to address the studio audience, a few hundred people who had traveled from across the globe to attend the live “Daily Show” telecast.

Walking into the 11th Avenue studio of “The Daily Show” on Tuesday night was instantly an odd experience. Typically, recordings for the Comedy Central staple are crackling with energy. People talk and laugh, quoting late night jokes or comparing their list of favorite correspondents. But on election night, the queue crowd wasn’t excited so much as tense as it filed in around 10:15 p.m. Et, when the first results were showing a lean in Donald Trump’s direction.
It was a feeling that continued throughout the hourlong live special. What started as a fun way to spend the evening morphed into something akin to taking a sick dog to the park for one last game of fetch as the results came in. But the mounting dread permeating the studio audience highlighted one key insight: we still need Jon Stewart, perhaps now more than ever.

Trick Or Treat Limited Edition 4K Uhd + Blu-ray: "From the early days of DVD, one movie more than any other has been requested by horror fans and metal heads all over: Charles Martin Smith’s heavy metal horror classic Trick Or Treat. A box office disappointment that found a wide following on home video and cable in the 80s and 90s, it’s been curiously out of reach to fans, who would rely on dubious DVDs and imports to get their Halloween heavy horror treat. Now, Red Shirt Pictures and Synapse Films are finally bringing the much-anticipated Trick Or Treat to your door in a definitive Limited Edition 4K Uhd/Blu-ray that will make every day Halloween for horror fanatics and headbangers!
Rock ‘n’ roll will never die, in this 1980s cult favorite that stars Marc Price (Family Ties) as Eddie Weinbauer, a teenage outcast who idolizes Sammi Curr (Tony Fields), a heavy metal superstar.

Rock ‘n’ roll never dies. Sometimes, it even gets a second life. At least that’s the case for 1986 cult horror favorite Trick or Treat, as Synapse Films has delivered a surprise Halloween treat by launching preorders for the horror film’s 4K world premiere.
The limited special edition 4K release of Trick or Treat is strictly limited to a total of 6666 units!
The good news is that preorders are open now, with the release shipping as soon as next week, October 27.
The first feature from award-winning filmmaker Charles Martin Smith (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”), the film featured a cast of soon to be household names including Marc Price (“Family Ties”) and Doug Savant (“Melrose Place”). Jake E. Lee is recovering at home after being shot multiple times while walking his dog Coco in Las Vegas. Following his release from the intensive care unit at Sunrise Hospital, the guitarist detailed the events that led to the shooting, particularly a verbal altercation he engaged in with an unknown group of masked people outside of his neighbor’s home. Lee’s recollection suggests the attack could have been related to a robbery.
“Walking home from our walk, Coco and I crossed paths with a couple of thieves,” Lee wrote on Facebook.

Backstage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony, Cher confirmed that she had once declared she “didn’t give a flying fuck if I got in.” But if the pop superstar (pictured above in an opening duet of “Believe” with Dua Lipa) found her way toward being completely glee about the Saturday night occasion, who else was going to be in anything less than full-on Thanksgiving mode?
Every Rock Hall of Fame induction ceremony has its own distinctive vibe. And during the 2024 event, a marathon five-and-a-half hour concert at Cleveland’s sold-out Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, gratitude was the prevailing theme from presenters, performers and inductees alike.
With one exception that was not Cher, there was almost no infighting or drama leading up to (or at) the ceremony, and the event itself focused on the artists and music. The special guests and collaborators felt well-matched, and the presenters — including...

The stars were out for Saturday’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which included a tribute to the ‘Goddess of Pop’.
Zendaya and Dua Lipa channelled their inner ‘Dark Lady’ on the red carpet as Cher was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Lipa joined the pop music legend in a performance of her 1998 single ‘Believe’, and Zendaya took the stage for her induction, which airs Jan. 1 on ABC.
“Where do I even begin? Cher is not one person. Her name is just as legendary as her legacy,” said the Euphoria star, adding: “Cher has got the goods.”
Cher, who also performed her 1989 hit ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’, said in her speech, “The one thing I got from my mom is to never give up. I never give up. I’m talking to the women — down and out, we keep going.

The clock was rapidly approaching midnight when Ozzy Osbourne first appeared on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony stage at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio Saturday night. Due to a variety of health ailments, including Parkinson’s Disease, Osbourne’s mobility is severely limited, and he rarely appears in public. But there he was accepting the award on a leather throne with skull armrests, and a giant vampire bat perched on top.

On Saturday, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inducted Ozzy Osbourne as a solo artist. It was the second time the institution recognized the singer, following his induction as a member of Black Sabbath in 2006.
The honor was long overdue. Osbourne made one of rock’s most incredible comebacks after Black Sabbath fired him in 1979. With the help of guitarist Randy Rhoads, who was posthumously inducted into the Hall in 2021, he recorded energetic, almost gothic rockers like “Crazy Train,” “Mr. Crowley,” and “Flying High Again” that helped him eclipse Sabbath’s career commercially.

Ozzy Osbourne was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday night (October 19th) in Cleveland with a rousing and highly entertaining speech by Jack Black. The Prince of Darkness was also honored with a three-song performance fronted by Maynard James Keenan, Jelly Roll, and Billy Idol.
Jack Black gave an all-time Rock Hall speech, with his face turning beet red as he hilariously screamed his way through a highly animated rundown of Ozzy’s various achievements.
Ozzy himself followed, sitting in a giant leather bat-design chair. The metal icon singled out his late guitarist Randy Rhoads and his wife Sharon during his brief speech.
The all-star performance was next, as Tool’s Maynard James Keenan sang “Crazy Train” alongside Wolfgang Van Halen on lead guitar, with a backing band of Chad Smith on drums, Robert Trujillo on bass, Andrew Watt on rhythm guitar, and Adam Wakeman on keyboards.

The conductor of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s crazy train on Saturday night was actor Jack Black, who had the honor of inducting Ozzy Osbourne into the institution with a speech that was predictably reverent and hilarious.
In addition to celebrating the music of Osbourne’s first band, Black Sabbath, Black has long championed Osbourne’s solo career, performing “Crazy Train” as a member of Tenacious D and “Mr. Crowley” with Tom Morello’s son, Roman. In fact, he’s been a fan of Osbourne’s for most of his life.

Tool famously kept their music off digital platforms until finally making their catalog available to streaming services in 2019 upon the release of their latest album, Fear Inoculum. Looking back, singer Maynard James Keenan feels it was a big “mistake” for the band not to embrace the digital revolution earlier.
In a new conversation with rock personality Allison Hagendorf (watch below), the Tool vocalist was asked about the band’s decision to keep their music strictly on physical formats while most other music acts readily made their music available on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

Jake E. Lee has led a fairly successful career as a musician, jumping to work with major talents like Ozzy Osbourne and the heavy metal band Badlands. In fact, after working with all these noteworthy artists, the 67-year-old even went on to form his own band in 2013, Red Dragon Cartel. Then there are all the solo works he delivered under his own name, like his instrumental album A Fine Pink Mist (1996) and cover album Retraced (2005).

Amidst all of this, the one period that holds significance in Lee’s career was the time he replaced guitarist Brad Gillis to work for Ozzy Osbourne. From 1982 to 1987, he began composing music and recording with other members, with one of his most notable contributions being the significant amount of music he composed for the 1983 album Bark at the Moon, which has sold around three million copies in the U.

Former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee is currently recovering and said he is “doing surprisingly well” after being shot three times on early Tuesday (October 15th) near his home in Las Vegas.
As previously reported, Lee was involved in a random street shooting about 10 miles from the Las Vegas Strip while the guitarist was in his driveway about to walk his dog. Lee was placed in a nearby hospital’s intensive care unit and is “expected to fully recover” per a statement from his representative.
The day after the shooting, Wednesday (October 16th), fellow guitarist and Las Vegas resident DJ Ashba (formerly of Guns N’ Roses) posted a text message exchange he had with Lee on his Instagram stories [via Blabbermouth].
In the exchange, Ashba asked if Jake was Ok, to which he replied: “Doing surprisingly well. I am one lucky mother f**ker. Just make sure your bday bash is wheelchair accessible!
