After supplying fans with nearly five decades of pop and dance anthems, Cher announced she may have one project left to release. During an interview at the London’s Lyceum Theatre Monday in support of her new memoir, Cher: The Memoir, Part One, the singer said her next album is “probably my last.”

“I’m really excited,” Cher said of the project, according to The Sun. “They are great songs and I’m just really excited that I’m doing it. I’m really excited to be doing anything now.

We found out last year that the 1986 rock ‘n roll horror film Trick or Treat, one of my all-time favorite movies, would be getting a Blu-ray and 4K Uhd release from Synapse Films. They were originally aiming for a Halloween 2023 release, but since they missed that month they ended up giving the movie a limited edition release last month. Those 6,666 units sold out so fast, with fans crashing the Synapse Films website along the way, that the company has now wisely decided to put together a standard edition of the Blu-ray and 4K Uhd release as well. Today, they announced that the street date for the standard edition is March 11th.

Ozzy Osbourne has designed a custom T-shirt in an effort to ban trophy hunting, joining other celebrities in a worldwide campaign.

The metal icon has teamed up with the UK organization The Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting to raise money and awareness to abolish hunting for sport.

“Trophy hunters are totally crazy,” stated Ozzy. “You’ve got to be barking to kill an innocent animal and then take photos of yourself laughing about it.”

Saturday Night Live had some fun at hair metal’s expense last night (November 9th). A sketch called “Sex Rock CD” featured the episode’s host, comedian Bill Burr, longing for the days of “rockin’ tunes about living fast, dying young, and doing sex.”

In the skit, Burr plays a father working on his motorcycle in the garage when his teenage son (played by new SNL cast member Emil Wakim) walks in and is blown away by the guitar rock his dad is listening to, exclaiming, “Whoa, what’s this music? I’ve never heard anything like this before.”

Aston Villa Football Club and Adidas have unveiled new jerseys and cleats in collaboration with Black Sabbath and its frontman Ozzy Osbourne.

Ozzy and fellow Black Sabbath member Geezer Butler are huge fans of their hometown Birmingham club, as seen in the announcement video for Aston Villa’s partnership with Sabbath that dropped back in July.

Now the club has released its first merchandise in collaboration with the band, highlighted by a new jersey emblazoned with the Black Sabbath logo on the rear tail below the number.

Aston Villa will don the Sabbath uni on Wednesday (October 30th) for its Carabao Cup match against Crystal Palace. Jake E. Lee is recovering at home after being shot multiple times while walking his dog Coco in Las Vegas. Following his release from the intensive care unit at Sunrise Hospital, the guitarist detailed the events that led to the shooting, particularly a verbal altercation he engaged in with an unknown group of masked people outside of his neighbor’s home. Lee sustained three bullet wounds on Oct. 15 at roughly 2:45 a.m. while walking his dog approximately ten miles from the Las Vegas Strip.

After Osbourne himself kicked things off by bellowing the words, “All aboard,” the tribute started with “Crazy Train,” with Wolfgang Van Halen playing a ripping solo as Keenan took on the vocals. Jelly Roll stepped up next, singing Osbourne’s iconic power ballad “Mama, I’m Coming Home.

In addition to celebrating the music of Osbourne’s first band, Black Sabbath, Black has long championed Osbourne’s solo career, performing “Crazy Train” as a member of Tenacious D and “Mr. Crowley” with Tom Morello’s son, Roman. In fact, he’s been a fan of Osbourne’s for most of his life.

Foreigner are set to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame during a ceremony in Cleveland on Saturday (October 19th), but two key members won’t be in attendance. In a Facebook post, Foreigner revealed that they will have some big-time guests performing their songs at the ceremony, while also detailing who will be in attendance from the band:

Jake E. Lee has led a fairly successful career as a musician, jumping to work with major talents like Ozzy Osbourne and the heavy metal band Badlands. In fact, after working with all these noteworthy artists, the 67-year-old even went on to form his own band in 2013, Red Dragon Cartel. Then there are all the solo works he delivered under his own name, like his instrumental album A Fine Pink Mist (1996) and cover album Retraced (2005).

Amidst all of this, the one period that holds significance in Lee’s career was the time he replaced guitarist Brad Gillis to work for Ozzy Osbourne. From 1982 to 1987, he began composing music and recording with other members, with one of his most notable contributions being the significant amount of music he composed for the 1983 album Bark at the Moon, which has sold around three million copies in the U.

Former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee is currently recovering and said he is “doing surprisingly well” after being shot three times on early Tuesday (October 15th) near his home in Las Vegas.

As previously reported, Lee was involved in a random street shooting about 10 miles from the Las Vegas Strip while the guitarist was in his driveway about to walk his dog. Lee was placed in a nearby hospital’s intensive care unit and is “expected to fully recover” per a statement from his representative.

The day after the shooting, Wednesday (October 16th), fellow guitarist and Las Vegas resident DJ Ashba (formerly of Guns N’ Roses) posted a text message exchange he had with Lee on his Instagram stories [via Blabbermouth].

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame turns back time this Saturday night to finally welcome Cher as an inductee (to be introduced by double Emmy winner Zendaya). The Oscar winner has been eligible since 1991 and has waited over three decades to be selected. In fact, all of the 2024 newly-elected members have been waiting patiently to be chosen. No first-time eligible music artists were chosen this year.

Zakk Wylde is stepping away from the remaining dates of the ongoing “Experience Hendrix” tour as he prepares for Ozzy Osbourne‘s second Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.

Wylde is a man of many projects, from Black Label Society to Pantera, but the journeyman guitarist can only be in one place at a time. His involvement in Ozzy’s induction — which honors Osbourne’s solo career, including years of work alongside Wylde — has taken precedence over the remaining five shows of the Experience Hendrix tour (October 15th through the 19th).
