Since its end in 1997, "Married... with Children" has maintained a legacy as one of the strangest and longest-running television shows of its kind. The Fox sitcom was, on its face, a standard multi-camera sitcom about a dysfunctional family and the colorfully zany characters that breezed in and out of their suburban enclosure. At the same time, it bucked contemporary genre conventions, daring to push the boundaries of acceptable behavior for sitcom protagonists while leaning into the surrealist subgenre -- which, relative to the tamer landscape of TV back in the late '80s and '90s, surely must've surprised some audiences.

And yet, as odd and abrasive as the show could be, the series was reliably anchored by a powerhouse cast of comedic actors at the top of their game. This included Ed O'Neill, Katey Sagal, and Christina Applegate, all three of whom have been receptive to revive the series...

Hulu's original series "Tell Me Lies" became a huge and somewhat unexpected hit after its first season released in 2022, and that's probably because its story of a deeply toxic college relationship is just so universal. Based on Carola Lovering's book of the same name and adapted by Meaghan Oppenheimer (who previously worked on "Fear the Walking Dead" and "Queen America"), "Tell Me Lies" splits its timeline in two, telling the twisted "love" story of Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White), who meet at Baird College in upstate New York and carry on an on-again, off-again relationship that ends up creating plenty of collateral damage. In 2008, Stephen and Lucy are carefree students at Baird, but in 2015, they're trapped together at a wedding ... and it's clear that things aren't quite finished between them.

In my opinion, it is nothing compared to what Netflix has in store for us for 2025, as some of the most highly-anticipated Netflix original shows will be returning to streaming and, in some cases, for one last time. “One Piece” creator Eiichiro Oda is giving his official thumbs up on Season 2 of the Netflix original. The creator visited the set in Cape Town, South Africa, and shared his thoughts with fans.

Hulu’s hit series Tell Me Lies has almost wrapped up it’s second season, with the finale airing on Wednesday.

What you may not know is, Jackson White, who portrays Stephen on the series, is the son of actress Katey Sagal, who portrays Stephen’s mom on the show.

In the series, they have a very strained relationship with Katey‘s character being incredibly manipulative. Stephen has obviously been impacted by his upbringing, and it shows with his character’s decisions throughout season one as well.

In season one, there’s a memorable episode where Stephen goes home for Christmas and he’s visibly having a tough time.

Clifford Bell, the cabaret impresario, director and producer affectionately known as “Lawrence of Cabarabia,” died Sunday of natural causes at Cha Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, publicist Steve Moyer announced. He was 67.

Eagle-eyed anime lovers are buzzing with excitement: Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the renowned manga series One Piece has just announced that it cast an Emmy-nominated star for a pivotal role in its widely anticipated second season.

Katey Sagal, who is most recognized for her voice and film roles as Leela in “Futurama” and Peggy Bundy in “Married…with Children,” is the actress in question for this part. Sagal will provide the voice of Dr. Kureha, the much-awaited new character in the series.

The One Piece season 2 casting news just keeps on coming, with the latest addition to the cast (as reported by The Hollywood Reporter) being Charithra Chandran, who recently played the breakout role of Edwina Sharma in the hit Netflix series Bridgerton. For One Piece, which is also a Netflix show and a live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s world-famous manga (you can read our 6/10 review of the first season Here), Chandran will be taking on the role of Nefertari Vivi, a.k.a. Miss Wednesday, the princess of the Arabasta Kingdom.

Charithra Chandran — who broke out playing Edwina Sharma in the regal Bridgerton drama — is set to board the second season of One Piece, Netflix’s live-action pirate adventure series about a young, superpowered pirate captain who dreams of finding the ultimate treasure.

Chandran becomes a series regular in the role of Miss Wednesday, appearing along previously announced new castmembers Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra and Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy.

Netflix’s One Piece series is a live-action manga adaptation of a series by Eiichiro Oda about Monkey D. Katey Sagal and Mark Harelik have been cast in “One Piece” Season 2, Variety has learned.

Netflix made the announcement on their social channels on Wednesday. Sagal will play Dr. Kureha, while Harelik will play Dr. Hiriluk in the live-action adaptation of the popular manga series.

They will appear alongside fellow new Season 2 cast members Daniel Lasker, Camrus Johnson, Jazzara Jaslyn, David Dastmalchian, Werner Coetser, Brendan Murray, Clive Russell, Callum Kerr, Julia Rehwald, Rob Colletti, and Ty Keogh.

Sagal is known for her starring roles in shows like “Sons of Anarchy,” “Married…With Children,” “8 Simple Rules,” and “The Conners.” She is also known for lending her voice to the character Leela in the popular animated series “Futurama,” which was recently revived at Hulu.
