HBO Europe has ordered a 10-part half-hour Spanish comedy series with the working title Whatever (Por H o Por B).
The original show has just begun production in Madrid. It is produced by Lacoproductora and Globomedia, a company of The Mediapro Studio, for HBO Europe.
The series (Whatever is the working title in English) is written and directed by Manuela Burlo Moreno based on her own Goya-nominated short film Pipas. Burlo Moreno’s credits also include features Rumbos and Como sobrevivir a una despedida.

Mindwarp, a post-apocalyptic, sci-fi gore film produced by Fangoria Magazine in 1992, is a cup half-full, cup half-empty proposition. In the plus column, it stars Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead) and Angus Scrimm (Phantasm), two genre icons who give it their all no matter how low-budget or poorly conceived the film around them happens to be. And despite being the brainchild of a publication dedicated to glorifying the grossest moments in movie history, Mindwarp surprisingly chooses to emphasize ideas over shock effects.
Yet there’s no mistaking Mindwarp for anything other than an ambitious copycat slogging through the direct-to-video ditches. And it’s an odd release choice for Twilight Time, who usually focus on lesser known but more widely respected classics from studio back catalogs. But for those with an affection for the material – or Bruce Campbell in particular, who never quite got a fair chance at being a big-screen action...

Horror veterans Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead) and Angus Scrimm (Phantasm) co-star in the 1992 cult horror-science fiction film Mindwarp, making its Blu-ray debut through from Twilight Time.
The movie, directed by Steven Barnett and produced by Fangoria Films (an off-shoot of the popular horror film magazine), tells the grisly tale of a post-apocalyptic society in which the privileged exist only as “Dreamers,” eternally plugged into a virtual reality fantasyland, Inworld. Meanwhile, in the ravaged Outworld, humans have mutated into savage flesh-eaters, led by a mysterious, charismatic despot (Scrimm) interested only in survival.
The Blu-ray includes an isolated audio track of Mark Governor’s score, the original theatrical trailer, and liner notes by Julie Kirgo.
The Blu-ray is now available for pre-order and as supplier Twilight Time prints up only 3,000 copies of each title,...

Ray (Laurence Fishburne) and David (David Berman) are called in after a Db is found in the desert. along with a nylon bag, containing styrofoam. David finds a key chain on the Vic; who appears to have puncture marks on his back, which Ray points out are uniform in pattern, resembling bite marks. Ray supposes the bitemarks are from "Godzilla." Doc Robbins (Robert David Hall) comments on the monster on the loose. Cod is brain injury caused by sudden deceleration, such as a car accident. There is perforated skin, muscle. Hodges (Wallace Langham) can't resist getting involved in the investigation, after his analysis on the bag reveals what was found inside is used to construct simulated muscle.
