Helen Baxendale

Helen Baxendale became pregnant between seasons 4 and 5 of TV-show Friends (1994). As a result, she was unable to travel to the US to do any filming for season 5 so her only appearances were heavily swaddled in bed clothes, and she had to be written out of the series a lot earlier than was intended.

People are really stupid. They think you're serious and intelligent if you're a brunette with a pale complexion and a bit of hooked nose. If you're blonde and pretty, they don't give you that sort of part. It's short-sighted and stupid, but that's how it goes.
