Susan is an Alabama native. She graduated from S. R. Butler High
School. She holds a Masters Degree in Education from the University of
North Alabama. She is an award winning teacher winning "Teacher of the
Year" three times in her school system and winning "Alabama Teacher of
the Year" for her district in 1990. She was a current teacher and
actual Space Camp counselor when she was selected and cast for the part
of Senior Counselor in the movie. She loved the adventure and meeting a
wonderful cast and crew.
