Amazon Prime Video made its first upfront presentation to advertisers on Tuesday in New York, with the streamer bringing out some of its biggest stars to break some news while touting its original series, film and sports offerings.

Amazon took over Pier 36 in Manhattan, which included a large installation dedicated to Amazon shows like “Fallout” and “The Summer I Turned Pretty” as well as movies like “Road House” and their various sports offerings like “Thursday Night Football.”

Amazon’s first major upfront started half an hour late — the long line to get in was referenced several times by Amazon MGM Studios head Jen Salke and even “You’re Cordially Invited” stars Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell. But once inside, advertisers were presented a star-studded litany of projects and news designed to make a huge splash in the marketplace.

Netflix is speeding into its latest sports docuseries.

The streamer has ordered a series that tracks the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs and championship race this fall.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., who has won 26 races in the Cup Series and is the son of legendary motorsports driver Dale Earnhardt, is exec producing the untitled project.

The five-part series has already starting filming as the drivers battle it out to secure their spot in the NASCAR Playoffs, which begin Sept. 3 at Darlington Raceway.

It will feature exclusive access to drivers and teams both on the track and at home.

The series will premiere in early 2024.

Words + Pictures, the company launched by former ESPN exec Connor Schell that is backed by Peter Chernin’s The North Road Company, is producing alongside NASCAR Studios.

Dancing with the Stars returned Monday with the top 10 celebrity dancers performing routines that channeled their most memorable year. Instead of a guest judge this week, the empty fourth chair was replaced by viewer votes tabulated during each performance.

Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy were the first to hit the dance floor, taking on a Rumba. Parrish’s most memorable year, 2002, is when her vocal coach/ second grandmother passed away while she was trying to get a break in Hollywood. Val’s choreography incorporated a lot of contemporary moves into the Latin dance. Most of the judges enjoyed the new take and Janel’s moves, but Bruno Tonioli wanted to see the Pretty Little Liars star improve her spins. Score: 9+9+9+9=36

Adding in a second round of lucky nominees, the Teen Choice Awards announced more 2014 trophy hopefuls on Thursday evening (July 17).

“22 Jump Street” (starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill) made an impression on the judges earning seven nominations, while Iggy Azalea follows closely behind with five nods.

In addition, the Teen Choice reps revealed that a gaggle of stars from “Pretty Little Liars” including Keegan Allen, Tyler Blackburn, Lucy Hale, and Ian Harding will all appear on the show.

They join already announced guests including Jake T. Austin, Kellan Lutz, Chloë Grace Moretz,Cody Simpson, Hailee Steinfeld, Bella Thorne and Zendaya.

Newly crowned 2014 Daytona 500 champion Dale Earnhardt Jr. spoke exclusively to Uinterview about his hopes for the racing season.

Earnhardt spoke to Uinterview about his run in with Marcos Ambrose at the Sprint Unlimited earlier this February. Earnhardt and Ambrose were racing when Ambrose pushed Earnhardt into the fence, ending the race for both of them.

“We were just kind of going for the same place… I was out front and Marcus was pushing me down the front straight way, and I got to moving around probably a little too much in front of his car, searching for some air,” Earnhardt told Uinterview, “And he decided to start getting offensive on making some moves of his own and we were just miscommunicating with each other at that point in time and ran into each other.”

Earnhardt says he holds no grudges against Ambrose, regardless of how angry he may have seemed at the time.

Records, as they say, are made to be broken. Just ask Babe Ruth, Wilt Chamberlain or Gordie Howe.

Their career marks for home runs, points and goals, respectively, were so revered in their sports that they became major media events when they fell.

As the 55th running of Nascar’s most important and prestigious race concluded on Sunday, Feb. 24, one driver was the clear victor.

For those fans of racing, today was the Superbowl, the Oscars and the World Series all wrapped in one. After an exciting race, Jimmie Johnson crossed the finish line first at the Daytona International Speedway, taking the victory!

Jimmie beat out Dale Earnhardt Jr., winning his second Daytona 500 in a row.

The network released the official guest roster and episode details for its five cartoon comedies Monday, and they're packed with top TV talent. "The Simpsons" Season 24 guest voices include Zooey Deschanel, Jeff Gordon and Steve Carell.

Over on "The Cleveland Show," Bryan Cranston, Nicki Minaj and Nick Offerman will stop by. On "Family Guy," TV producers J.J. Abrams, Mark Burnett and Dick Wolf will lend their voices to characters. Zach Galifianakis, Offerman and Megan Mullally will voice characters on "Bob's Burgers." Patrick Stewart and Sarah Michelle Gellar will voice characters on "American Dad."

Dale Earnhardt Jr did not have the fastest car at the start of the Quicken Loans 400. But 400 miles later he did as the No. 88 displayed in the No. 1 position on the scoring pylon. Earnhardt started the race 17th and quickly fell back to 25th. But 11 laps into the race crew chief Steve Letarte called for a spring rubber and a chassis adjustment on the black, Batman sponsored No. 88 and the car came to life after that. Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. first broke onto the scene at SXSW in 2011, where they did about eight shows -- the festival serving as a sort of mini, trial tour for those on the cusp of being discovered. This year, the band is eyeing about half as many shows, which they kicked off with a private party Saturday night, hosted by Tito's Vodka. The band, made up of Daniel Zott and Joshua Epstein (not earnestly named race car driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and by extension, Dale Earnhardt Sr.) is known for their radio-friendly song "Simple Girl," but their sound is more rock-heavy than their single would let on. On October 16, 2011, motor racing lost one of its favorite sons when Dan Wheldon was involved in a fatal crash. Now a bunch of celebrities and racing legends have come together for a special charity auction to raise money for the Dan Wheldon Family Trust Fund.
