The title for his short pulp novel from 1976, "La Madrugada de los Cadáveres," roughly translates into English to "Dawn of the Dead." Most importantly, it predates the main themes in Return of the Living Dead by almost a decade. It is about brain-eating, indestructible zombies revived by chemicals. It was published in the seminal Spanish series Selección Terror Bruguera.
