Kevin Hamburger is a television industry veteran working as Production Consultant. He was previously Senior Vice President, Production at STARZ where he oversaw all production and post-production activities for shows that includes Outlander, Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Force, P-Valley, BMF, Party Down and The Serpent Queen. Prior to working at Starz, Kevin was Vice President, Production at Warner Horizon Television, a Production Consultant at Alcon Television Group and was an Emmy Award winning Senior Supervising Producer of The Talk on CBS.
Before launching The Talk, Kevin was Senior Vice President, Production, Fox Television Studios and prior to that he was Senior Vice President, Production at Warner Bros.' Telepictures Productions. Some of the shows he has been involved with include: The Bachelor franchise, A Christmas Story Live!, Ellen's Game of Games, The Talk at the Super Bowl, Little Big Shots, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Real, EXTRA, TMZ, Burn Notice, White Collar, Love Connection, The World's Best, The Expanse, Pete the Cat, Showtime at the Apollo, and Judge Mathis.
Kevin launched Jimmy Kimmel Live, serving as Supervising Producer, and spent seven years at Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, the last two as Executive Producer, earning seven Emmy Award nominations and one CableACE award. Earlier in his career, he was part of the team that launched of MTV, VH-1, and Nick at Nite. He started his career as a Systems Design Engineer at WNET (PBS) and ABC Television in New York. While at ABC, Kevin was responsible for implementation of Closed Captioning for the Hearing Impaired on the network.
Kevin served on both the Television Academy Board of Governors and the Board of Directors of the Television Academy Foundation over a fifteen-year period. During that time, he was Vice Chair, Treasurer and Governor of the Academy and Treasurer of the Foundation. While on the Academy Board, he chaired the Creative Arts & Budget Review Committees and co-chaired the Saban Media Center Technology Committee as well as being instrumental in the restructuring of the Creative Arts Emmys show into a two-night event. Kevin was also responsible for a number of vendor contributions to the Capital Campaign.
Kevin is a frequent guest speaker for college interns during their semester in Los Angeles.
