Exclusive: BBC staff mocked a senior manager with laugh emojis during a virtual meeting today in which he revealed the results of his division’s employee survey.

Jason Horton, the Director of Production for BBC Local, was bombarded with the “tears of joy” emoji by disgruntled employees, who are currently taking industrial action over content changes and job cuts.

The staff survey, seen by Deadline, showed that only 13% of 1,480 BBC Local employees had confidence in the BBC’s executive team and its vision for the broadcaster.

Just 37% of employees said they would recommend the BBC as a great place to work, while 65% were unsure whether they wanted to continue working for the corporation in two years’ time.

Some 60% of those polled did not agree when asked if they understood why the BBC was changing its local output by switching resources from traditional broadcasting to digital.

Multiple fronts: I have been covering the BBC in depth for more than five years and never have I known it to be battling crises on so many fronts. Not content with the Gary Lineker row dominating front pages for days, the corporation has also found itself in hot water this week over local news strikes, Question Time host Fiona Bruce‘s remarks about Boris Johnson’s father, and accusations of “top-down toxicity” from its century-old choir, which is being axed. Updating: The BBC apologized Wednesday for scheduling disruptions as employees stage their biggest strike in 13 years in protest over job losses and changes to local content.

Around 1,000 National Union of Journalists members are expected to down tools for 24 hours beginning at 11 a.m. local time, and the BBC has acknowledged that it will be a difficult day.

Journalists in Leeds formed a picket line and chanted “hands off local BBC” as the strike got underway this morning. Employees wielded placards featuring quotes including “Stop the cuts.”

The film deals with a curse and the Devil's desire to steal Morgan's soul, bit by bit. Partial casting has been announced and includes: Robert C. Pullman, Rachel Amanda Bryant, Aaron Groben, Hakeemshady Mohamed, Justin Chamberlain and Scott Menville. Special and creature effects will be handled by spfx veteran Robert M. Bravo. A preview of this supernatural film is hosted here. The story involves Morgan (Bryant) and her relationship with her father. Her father has brought a curse on his family, which is passed to the next generation. Now, Morgan must find a way to outsmart the Devil, before she loses her soul forever! Anti-villain Media has released the first trailer for Lucifer. Developed from a short film, Lucifer involves a caretaker and author, in a remote home. The subject matter of her story causes all kings of haunted chaos. And, the film has been directed by Tiffany Castro, from Brent Trotter and Justin Kornmann's script. Ryan Kelley (“Teen Wolf”), Jessica Morris (“One Life to Live”), ex-con actor Dave Vescio (Hick), Tay Zonday and Jason Horton star. The film's teaser trailer is hosted here. The trailer shows character Amiel (Monique Marie Gelineau) ascending a set of stairs, in a darkened home. A voice-over narrative talks about the devil's existence as Amiel approaches a closed door. Move over, 12-12-12 — there’s a new star-studded charity benefit in town.

Tonight, the What’s Trending YouTube channel will host the First Annual Tube-a-Tweet-a-thon Holiday Spectacular. Notable guests include the popular online a cappella group Pentatonix, actor and comedian Kevin Pollak, and Snoop Lion. Proceeds from the event go toward Covenant House, a charity that supports homeless youth.
