June 12, 2079 is also a fictional date mentioned in Aliens (1986).

Back to School (1986) was released one day after she graduated from high school. Somewhat ironic considering the film's title.

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) & Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) were the only films in their respective franchises to be released while she was still in high school. They are also the third installment in said franchises.
