- Günther Jerschke was born on October 8, 1921 in Breslau, Silesia, Germany [now Wroclaw, Dolnoslaskie, Poland]. He was an actor and writer, known for Salem Aleikum (1959), Frauenarzt Dr. Markus Merthin (1994) and Die Stadt im Tal (1975). He died on May 6, 1997 in Hamburg, Germany.
