“Holiday Twist,” an upcoming feature from Etm Pictures, announced on Thursday that a group of cast members added to the film, with production up and running in Los Angeles.
Sean Astin (“Lord of the Rings”), Neal McDonough (“Yellowstone”), Haley Reinhart (“F is for Family”), Emily Tosta (“Mayans M.C.”) and Brian Thomas Smith (“Big Bang Theory”) will join the film, which is led by Kelly Stables (“Superstore”), and features James Maslow and Hugh Sheridan.

Exclusive: The critically acclaimed historical drama series Underground, which aired for two seasons on Wgn America, is heading to OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. OWN said today it has acquired the series to air beginning Tuesday, January 5 at 9 p.m. Et/Pt. The Underground TV show on Wgn America may soon be cancelled. Sinclair Broadcast Group is acquiring Wgn parent-company, Tribune Media and its slew of television stations, and Wgn America is one of them. After the higher performing series Outsiders was cancelled last month, it started to look like Wgn America may no longer run original scripted programming. “Underground” has cast Sadie Stratton in a recurring role for Season 2 as real-life slave catcher Patty Cannon, TheWrap has learned exclusively. Stratton takes over the role from Brigid Brannagh, who played Cannon in the Season 1 finale of the Wgn America drama. Cannon was a leader of the infamous Cannon-Johnson Gang, who would kidnap free blacks and fugitive slaves to sell them into slavery in the South. Cannon died in prison after being convicted of killing four black children. She is suspected of having committed up to a dozen murders.
