The social experiment is back and Paranormal Activity 4 is not worth the price of an IMAX ticket. Audiences with any interest with the series are better off waiting for a regular presentation or a video-on-demand release. Nothing about the movie was even reported to be filmed with the square-shaped camera format. At least at home, the only shocker is in knowing that money has been saved. The tale is with the Nelson family, who take a mysterious boy, Robbie (Brady Allen), from across the street in. His mother is as always busy and often leaves the child alone, strangly. Paranormal Activity 4 is in the midst of a strong opening weekend, where it’s on track to earn around $33.5 million. Though that’s less than the $52.6 million the horror franchise’s third installment opened to a year ago, the $5 million-budgeted film should easily win the weekend box office. Co-directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, and screenwriter Christopher Landon return to the Paramount Pictures series to introduce a new family, made up of teenage daughter Alex (Kathryn Newton), six-year-old son Wyatt (Aiden Lovekamp) and their parents (Alexondra Lee and the late Stephen Dunham).

All the activity has led to this – the fourth instalment in the Paranormal Activity series that began with the little indie that could, which transformed into a multi-million dollar franchise.

Paranormal Activity 4 acts as a sequel to Paranormal Activity 2, taking place 5 years later in November, 2011 and sees teenager Alex (Kathryn Newton) start to experience some strange stuff after the arrival of Robbie (Brady Allen), who has just moved in across the street from her – so what’s this all mean for Alex and her family? What is the activity building to? And where in the world are Katie and Hunter?

I love what these films can be, which is haunted house flicks that are terrific fun and akin to something like going on a roller coaster, with the audience strapping themselves in and going along for the ride and all its turns, twists and surprises.

In 1996, Alexondra Lee joined "Party of Five" in its third season to really shake things up -- and this weekend, she stars in "Paranormal Activity 4."Lee's role as Bailey's (Scott Wolf) older roommate led to his infamous alcohol abuse and an affair on longtime girlfriend Sarah (Jennifer Love Hewitt).While she was only on the show for one season, it was a memorable one.But then, aside from a stint on "Boston Public" and something called "Special Unit 2," she pretty much vanished from the limelight. Dunham was a prolific actor who appeared on a number of television shows, including ABC's "Hot Properties," "Just Shoot Me!" and, perhaps most memorably, "DAG," on which he played Edward Pillows. He also made appearances in 1999's "The Mummy" and in 2005's "Monster-in-Law." He is set to star as part of a wedded couple in the upcoming "Paranormal Activity" with his real-life wife, actress Alexondra Lee.
