Eric Leiber was born on 7 April 1937 in Vienna, Austria. He was a producer and writer, known for Love Connection (1983), Sammy and Company (1975) and The Baby Game (1967). He was married to Peggy Lieber. He died on 2 July 2008 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

He was born in Vienna, Austria, and his family moved to the US when he was an infant. He grew up in New Jersey, and started his career in television in New York in the 1950s.
