Love was born in Bakersfield, California on Nov. 2, 1998.

When he was 14 years old, his father died by suicide. Love, who was very close with his dad, contemplated quitting football then but his mother encouraged him to continue playing the sport.

Canadian pub owner Wes Stobbe never expected to see his face in a magazine, let alone one where he’s claimed to be the Olivia Newton-John‘s boyfriend who is presumed dead after he disappeared on a fishing trip off the coast of California in 2005.

But that’s exactly what happened when friends sent articles that pictured Strobbe and his wife, Bridget, lounging in Sayulita, Mexico. The headline? “Olivia Newton-John’s missing lover Patrick McDermott found.”

Australian outlet New Idea first published the image, with the National Enquirer and other publications also claiming it as proof that McDermott faked his own death.

After battling health issues, suffering heartbreak and losing both her mother and sister to cancer, Olivia Newton-John opened up to People last fall about soldiering through tragedy and getting to “the best time” of her life.

But on Tuesday, the entertainer, 68, revealed she’s been dealt another blow: After postponing her tour earlier this month because of severe back pain, she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer that has metastasized to the sacrum. “She plans to be touring in August. They’re all very positive,” a source close to the Grammy winner told People on Tuesday about Newton-John and her family.

Bobby Brown has settled a long-running legal battle with his ex-girlfriend over child support payments. Whitney Houston's former husband was jailed for four days in 2007 for skipping payments to Kim Ward, the mother of two of his children, Laprincia, 20, and Bobby, Jr., 19.

Brown hit headlines again last year when a judge issued a warrant for his arrest after he failed to attend a court hearing over accusations he owed Ward over $45,000. He settled the payment and subsequently filed legal papers asking for his $5,500 -a month installments to be reduced.

The singer, who claimed a change in his income meant he could no longer afford the hefty payments, sent his lawyers back to Norfolk Probate Court in Massachusetts this week to settle the matter. Brown's legal team has now reached an agreement with Ward over how much he will contribute to his kids' college education, according to the Boston Herald.
