Three things to check out on TV tonight.

Jane Espenson's latest episode of Once Upon a Time, "Skin Deep," airs tonight at 8 pm Et. Jane will do a live Q&A on Twitter during the West Coast airing. From ABC's press release:

Fans of ABC's hit drama, "Once Upon a Time" will be able to submit questions and receive real-time responses from writer/consulting producer Jane Espenson, who will be up on Twitter at @JaneEspenson during the West Coast broadcast of the show on Sunday, February 12 from 8:00-9:00 p.m., Pt. Espenson will also offer commentary and behind-the-scenes anecdotes about working on the show.

On Sunday's episode, "Skin Deep" - which was written by Espenson -- after Mr. Gold's house is robbed, Emma keeps a close eye on him when it looks like he wants to track down the criminal and dole out some vigilante justice as payback,...

A film set during the 1974 Turkish innovation of Cyprus has won Flickerfest’s Best Australian Short Film.

It marked a successful day for the film, which also won best screenplay for a short film, and best fiction short film at the Australian Academy Cinema Television Arts (AACTAs) earlier in the day.

The Palace, written and directed by Anthony Maras and produced by Maras, Kate Croser, and Andros Achilleos won took out the local competition at the Festival, now in its 21 year.

In The Palace a Cypriot family takes refuge in an abandoned Ottoman era palace as the Turkish forces advance. A young Turkish conscript games face to face with the family and confronted with the brutality of war.

The film has previously won best short film at both the Melbourne and Sydney Film Festivals and the audience award at Adelaide Film Festival.

The Fantasia Film Festival is officially over and we here at Sound On Sight will always remember it as the year of brilliant first time features with the likes of Bellflower, Absentia, Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark, You Are Here, Beyond The Black Rainbow, Attack The Block and Retreat, to name a few. The final audience numbers are yet to be confirmed, but Fantasia estimates it has welcomed more than 100,000 audience members in the past three and a half weeks. 150 international directors, actors and producers came to present their films and we had a great time meeting new faces and drinking the nights away with some of the filmmakers. I can’t stress how fun the festival is and highly I recommend our international readers who love genre cinema to one day travel here to Montreal, and check it out.

The 2011 Fantasia International Film Festival has come to an end and as usual was a rousing success with more than 100,000 audience members. In addition 150 international directors, actors, and producers presented their films at the fest. Read on for the wrap-up and winners from this year's various competitions.
