- Gaby Morlay was born on June 8, 1893 in Angers, Maine-et-Loire, France. She was an actress and producer, known for Gigi (1949), Les amants du pont Saint-Jean (1947) and Jim la houlette, roi des voleurs (1926). She was married to Max Bonnafous. She died on July 4, 1964 in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France.

- Because of her long association with Max Bonnafous, agriculture minister in Marshall Pétain government during the war, she appeared several times in front of the 'purge committees' once France was liberated. The couple eventually married once Bonnafous's wife, who refused to divorce him, died in 1961.
