Garikayi Mutambirwa is a Swiss-American actor. He was born in New Jersey and lived in Geneva, Switzerland from the age of six to eighteen when his parents moved there to work for the U.N. This gave Garikayi an opportunity to meet with the late great Nelson Mandela, who has remained an inspiration to him till this day. After discovering his passion for theatre and acting in Geneva, where he performed in French plays, he left Switzerland for New York to study at the Acting Conservatory at S.U.N.Y Purchase. He then moved to Los Angeles where he landed leading roles in studio feature films such as "Clockstoppers", "Jeepers Creepers 2", "and the New Line Cinema feature film "Bones" starring Snoop Dogg. Garikayi has also worked extensively in television, landing a series regular role in Aaron Spelling's pilot "Silver Lake", as well as guest starring roles on shows such as "Bosch", "NCIS: New Orleans", "House", and "ER". He starred as Otto in the stage production of Noel Coward's controversial play "Design For Living" at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles.
