Michael Peyser

Michael Peyser is a producer of major studio movies and quality independent film and television. He has mastered the creative challenges of the film industry as a producer, filmmaker and executive. Peyser was a tenured professor at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he taught all aspects of producing and next generation filmmaking and digital media craft. Previously he was the founding Senior Vice-President of Hollywood Pictures at The Walt Disney Studios. Peyser is currently developing Nabokov's Laughter in the Dark as a major feature film with writer/director Scott Frank and launching a select slate of series for streaming and cable. Extensive producing credits include Hackers, U2-3D, Imagining Argentina, Ruthless People, Big Business, Desperately Seeking Susan, and Matilda.
