The Grief Tourist tells the tale of one Jim Tahana, an unbalanced man who travels the Us, visiting the sites of grief-filled tragedies and disasters. His fascination with serial killers takes an even darker turn when he visits New Orleans, the site of the mass-murders of Carl Marznap and begins to succumb to impulses he is unable to control.

Michael Cudlitz (Grosse Pointe Blank, The Negotiator, Band of Brothers) is rumoured to be on board as Jim, with Eddie Fernandez (Hancock, TV’s Sons of Anarchy), Donna Ponterotto (Days of our Lives, The Back Up Plan)and Suzanne Quast making up the rest of the principal cast. Melanie Griffith is said to have now joined as well, although there is no news yet of the part she will play.
