Biography

Rafael E. Portas was born on December 2, 1897 in Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico. He was a director and writer, known for The Proud and the Beautiful (1953), Esa mujer es la mía (1942) and Los últimos días de Pompeyo (1940). He was married to Adelaida Petrilli Assardo. He died on May 11, 1975 in Mexico, D.F., Mexico.
