Pliny Porter is an international Motion Picture and Television Executive, Producer, Writer, Production Consultant and is also a Business Entrepreneur and start-up CEO in the Software Technology and Media space. Pliny has written and produced over a dozen studio and independent pictures worldwide, and successfully sold publicly listed software and media companies. Pliny travels between his homes in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and his Tech operations in South East Asia.
For over 20 years, Pliny has served as a Senior Executive in the Motion Picture and Television business as President and Head of Production & Development at The Walt Disney Company, Twentieth Century Fox Studios, Revolution Studios and Firework Pictures (A CanWest Co.). He founded and ran Development & Production as President of Julia Roberts' production company for 7 years, where he was responsible for several box-office blockbusters and award-winning movies such as Erin Brockovich, Notting Hill, Stepmom, Runaway Bride and others.
As entrepreneur, he founded Atcom, a mobile content distribution platform which sold to CoConnect, a publicly listed Co. and founded and sold The Motion Picture Group, a publicly listed motion picture and multimedia financing company.

(S.E. Asia), a software media technology company providing mobile business Apps to clients in the EdTech, FinTech, BizTech and Social Media space. Pliny's software solutions specialize in state-of-the-art mobile collaborative communication applications for real time sharing of rich media. Pliny is also on the Board of The Bilingual Montessori School of Paris, Inc., a non-profit educational service entity founded in 1972, providing AMI certified solutions through digital applications for schools.
