Ezra Buzzington, you may remember him from a handful of movies- Ghost World, Mirrors, The Hills Have Eyes, or Art School Confidential. Lately, however, Ezra Buzzington has been leaving his mark on the indie horror world starring in the drug and rape fueled Someone's Knocking At The Door and the thought provoking Breath of Hate.

I had the chance to ask him a few questions about these projects. Here's what he had to say.

One actor who we love around these parts is Ezra Buzzington. Recently seen in Chad Ferrin's Someone's Knocking at the Door and soon to be seen in Sean Cain's Breath of Hate, the guy knows how to stay busy and keep the gore flowing. We just got word that one of his next films will be of the living dead variety! Oh happy day! Get ready, zombie fans, to be Dug Up!

Dug Up, directed by Dustin Rikert and written by Rikert and William Shockley, is a horror/comedy zombie mashup that features Buzzington playing a mysterious wild card character who will be featured heavily in the sequel already planned for shooting later in the year.

“My head is in a mohawk right now for this part, says Buzzington of his role in the film. "I might keep it like this since everybody keeps hitting on me and offering me drugs.

Part of what makes the Oscar-nominated documentary The Cove so riveting is that the film is treated like an espionage thriller. And we can probably thank screenwriter Mark Monroe for much of its exciting narrative. Whether as a writer, director or producer, Monroe tends to work on documentaries with a sporting or adventuring edge. Prior to The Cove, he'd been involved with docs and series about soccer teams, boxing, basketball and sailing. His most recent film, Amir Bar-Lev's Sundance hit The Tillman Story, tackles the story of a pro football player turned tragic war hero.

Monroe's next sport to document is Formula One racing, according to Variety. He'll write the currently untitled project for occasional collaborator Paul Crowder, a filmmaker who also has a background in sports documentaries, having co-directed Once in a Lifetime: The Extraordinary Story of the New York Cosmos and edited Stacy Peralta's Riding Giants...

It looks like Tatum O'Neal is back on track after her drug bust earlier this year, grabbing new work that is matching her with some old and familiar faces. The Hollywood Reporter posts that O'Neal has signed on for a new suspense drama along with Tom Berenger and James Brolin called Last Will. Directed by Brent Huff, the film stars O'Neal as a midwestern woman framed...

New York -- Tatum O'Neal, Tom Berenger and James Brolin will face deception, corruption and misguided family loyalties in the indie suspense drama "Last Will."

Brigitte Nielsen, Patrick Muldoon, William Shockley, Jeffery Dean, Shawn Huff and Moon Unit Zappa round out director Brent Huff's ensemble cast.

"Will" centers on Hayden (O'Neal), a woman framed for the murder of her wealthy husband (Berenger) in their affluent Midwestern town. With all evidence stacked against her, she's arrested by a detective (Brolin) and begins a quest to uncover the truth.

Landing the central role in "Will" is a triumph for the Apa/Untitled-repped O'Neal. It is her first film since pleading guilty in the summer to disorderly conduct and entering rehab after attempting to purchase drugs.

O'Neal, who recurs role on FX's "Rescue Me," next appears in the indie drama "Saving Grace B. Jones."
