Gangs of Galicia (Clanes) is a Spanish crime drama series directed by Roger Gual from a screenplay by Jorge Guerricaechevarría. In a Gold Derby exclusive, we have learned the category placements of the key Emmy Awards contenders for AMC and Sundance. While AMC does not have perennial favorite “Better Call Saul” eligible for this cycle, they do have new drama contender “McMafia” (starring James Norton), returning drama “The Walking Dead” (Andrew Lincoln) and limited series “The Terror” (Jared Harris). Sundance has limited series “Top of the Lake: China Girl” among their 2018 contenders.
