Beverly Wills was born in Los Angeles, California on June 7, 1934. The
daughter of actress Joan Davis,
Beverly, too, would enter acting, but would not be as successful as her
mother. She only appeared in six films, one TV series, and two guest
appearances elsewhere. Her first film was in 1945, when Beverly made
her debut in
George White's Scandals (1945)
when she was 11 years old. Mickey (1948)
followed three years later. In 1952, at the age of 18, Beverly appeared
with her mother and Jim Backus in the TV
comedy, I Married Joan (1952).
In this, she played the sister to her real-life mother. After the
series had its run, Beverly appeared in only four more films, the last
being Son of Flubber (1962) in a
menial role. Later that year, Beverly died in a house fire with her
grandmother and two sons. She was just 30 years old. Her mother, Joan,
had passed on two years before.
