The second of the Philip Yordan and John Carr collaborations released by Tetrovideo recently, Marilyn Alive and Behind Bars was originally filmed in the early 80s. Filmed but unfinished, with some portions of the movie incorporated into the anthology Night Train to Terror, in the segment “The Case of Harry Billings,” which was released in 1985. After that, the producers completed their version of this movie, using almost all the materials filmed and released this version of the film on VHS as Scream Your Head Off. That film made an appearance in 1992’s Dead Girls Don’t Tango as a film showing at the La Paloma cinema which was at the centre of the film’s story.

A middling entry in the genre of blow-it-up big action spectacles, Paul Wendkos’ Spain-filmed western gives us all the excitement promised by the poster, but with some cardboard characters and lumpy storytelling. George Peppard is on the job, however, and once again proves he can carry a big picture, flaws and all.

Francine York, the statuesque actress who showed off her sexuality as The Bookworm's moll on Batman and in such films as It's Only Money, Cannon for Cordoba and The Doll Squad, has died. She was 80.

York died Friday morning at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif., after a battle with cancer, her friend, television producer Pepper Jay, told The Hollywood Reporter.

Like MST3K, the show was created by Joel Hodgson and features the same team that first brought the Peabody award winning cult-classic series to life: Trace Beaulieu (Crow, Dr. Forrester), J.
