Virginia Wade

She was awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in 1986 for her services to tennis and sports broadcasting.
Won women's singles championship at Wimbledon in 1977 (and is the last British player to win at the tournament).
She has been tennis commentator for the BBC since 1981. (August 2008)
Partner of actress Marylou Mellace.
