Luca Guardabascio was born in Polla (Salerno) and principally works in
Italy and in Usa. He is an Italian writer, filmmaker and teacher. His
work is based on social, historical and anthropological Cinema with
particular focus on international Genres Cinema (Noir, Sci-Fi, Comedy).
Basically his screenings are events shown Worldwide (mostly Europe and
Usa) with historical lectures. In 2002 with "Inseguito" he invented a
new movie genre called Marron that is more present on some of his
fiction books "My Own! Una guerra privata" (2006), "Uomini Qualsiasi e
Giorni Qualunque" (2009), "Ancora un'estate o un'estate ancora" (2011),
Feeling Death (2012). Marron is fusion of French Noir and Italian
Giallo with the touch of "bitter Italian comedy" as in "Addio Notte
Bianca" (2005).
